That's a Wrap, Everyone: Wellness Roadshow Oakville June 5th, 2022.
It has always been important to me to have healthy daily routines. When we go on vacation, though, the tendency is to lie on the beach, overindulge and completely ignore our wellness routines. Often when you return home, you are exhausted, sluggish and it takes you weeks to get back to feeling normal.
More and more people are looking at ways to incorporate their healthy daily habits into their vacations so they can feel the best they can 24/7. That doesn't mean can't let loose and have fun; we all need some fun! It might mean choosing a resort that offers healthy food choices like organic produce, grain feed meat, vegan options, juice bars, or resorts with a fully equipped gym, fitness classes, yoga, water sports and golf. Celebrity Cruises is so committed to wellness that they have created a whole category called Aqua Class on their ships dedicated to the wellness experience.
We wanted to show that holistic, wellness doesn't mean you have to sleep in a tent in the middle of the jungle (although we can arrange that too). You can enjoy 5-star resorts like Sandals and stay on your wellness journey. Travel with a tour company like G Adventures, visit Bali with your girlfriends and enjoy a fully immersed wellness experience. Or cruise the Mediterranean with Celebrity and experience their first-class spa amenities.
Our booth at the Wellness Roadshow featured three suppliers that do wellness WELL. G Adventures, Sandals Resorts and Celebrity Cruises. We even had a special guest appearance - Giselle Willams from Sandals Resorts.
It was great being part of a vendor community committed to wellness. It was especially lovely speaking to attendees who shared their past travel adventures and where they hoped the next travel adventure would take them.
